Build Engineer

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

This role requires a highly skilled expert on SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010. This role will be critical in building new Office365 SharePoint Online farms.

The role will be responsible for the following activities as part of the job:

- Preparing new SharePoint environments for Build
- Building the different SPO environments
- Installing builds and troubleshooting Build issues
- Communicating with the Release managers, senior SPO managers and various other teams
- Providing regular status updates to various levels of management
- Often Working directly with customers to help with issues related to build
- Providing feedback on the documentation, cutting the tickets to update the documents.
- Documenting various issues and resolution faced during the build process
- Providing feedback on the build process and own/drive the process changes

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- 5+ years of operational experience
- 5+ years of experience installing SharePoint and SQL
- 2+ years of PowerShell experience
- 2+ Years of TFS experience
- Installing and troubleshooting Hyper-V, Windows 2008 OS
- Good understanding of networking

SHOULD HAVE EU PASSPORT AND BE READY TO TRAVEL TO US FOR TRANSITION FOR THE FIRST 2-3 WEEKS OF CONTRACT.
