LOCATION: WASHINGTON, DC

RATE: DOE

KMM is seeking a DEVELOPER SUPPORT ENGINEER to work onsite in DC on our client's operations team as a liaison to the software development team, as well as assisting with web operations, automation, and tool building. The candidate must be familiar with typical open source SDLC, and have a strong working knowledge of developer tools such as GIT/GITHUB, JENKINS, SVN. Experience in PYTHON, PERL, AND PHP is desirable, and experience with Java/Tomcat, .NET, and PowerShell is a plus. The candidate must also have a strong understanding of Back End operations in a web environment, such as load balancing, private/public cloud computing, basic network administration, DNS, MySQL/Postgres, nginx, Apache, and various application frameworks. The ideal candidate will be capable and comfortable working alone and with minimal supervision for periods of time. A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF SYSTEM AUTOMATION AND TOOL BUILDING IS ESSENTIAL TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE.
