Budget Coordinator

DESCRIPTION:
Our Brand Marketing teams require the assistance of a Budget Coordinator to provide support for the brand marketing budgeting function. While overall accountability for the budgets will remain with the brand team, you will serve as the budget expert for the brand teams and be responsible for closely monitoring, updating and coordinating all of the budget activities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Manage the budget systems and processes for a particular category
Assist brand marketers in budget process management, applications and systems
Use company specific software Enterprise Marketing Management (EMM) to set up commitments. Understand this software and providing support to the marketing teams
Process all invoices against specific project Purchase Orders or Internal Orders
Be the liaison between Marketing, Procurement and Finance, re-enforcing Finance deadlines and policies regarding budgets and suppliers
Provide on-going updates regarding budget changes to brand marketers
Work with brand marketers to monitor changes in budget according to changes in projects
Maintain budget files and back-up for auditing purposes
Manage the year-end accrual process
Pull on-going reports through EMM system as necessary
Attend/participate in EMM Core Meetings.

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must have Bachelor's Business Admin or related field
1-2 years of related experience including previous budgeting experience
Time management, prioritization, organizational skills; process oriented
Exceptional attention to detail and excellent project management skills
Strong proficiency with systems, including MS Excel
Proven ability to build relationships and navigate through a large organization
