Motion Graphics Designer - Television - Broadcast - Adobe After Effects - News

My client are a broadcast company looking for a Motion Graphics Designer to join their news team to deliver content graphics for News/shows in line with their branding, look and feel. The successful candidate will have previous experience providing motion graphics for television.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Produce graphics items of the highest quality using the full range of available media. This will include daily output to tight deadlines as well as more planned items and special requirements such as titles and promos
- Input ideas, play a role in production planning, give guidance and advice on graphics treatment in terms of production value, visual style and technical viability
- To have a working knowledge of the graphics production process for the full range of media output
- Operation of the full range of general newsroom and graphics equipment including ingest, storage, manipulation, origination & transmission

PERSON SPECIFICATION

- To have studied Graphic/Interactive Design or an allied subject to B.A. (Hons) degree level or equivalent
- Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects and/or Cinema 4D
- Demonstrable experience of producing high quality creative graphics for broadcast television
- Able to do 3D animated complex graphics Experience of digital video and audio editing
- Excellent IT skills and the ability to acquire technical skills and to operate technical equipment are essential
- Familiarity with broadcast technology, including automation & digital technologies
- Knowledge of a news production system
- Broad knowledge of news & current affairs
