Brand Strategist Contract London

Brand Strategist to work for Whampoa (H3G) Reporting to: Senior Brand Strategist

Role Purpose: A rigorous thinker who can contribute strategic brand and communications insight, ideas and direction within the WHAM team.

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND:

7+ years advertising and/or brand agency experience focused on communications/advertising planning and brand positioning projects (not just 7yrs experience total)

Has worked on organisational/corporate, service and product branding as well as advertising/communications planning projects across several industry categories, including utilities, alcohol and retail

Has successfully scoped, led and implemented advertising/communications planning and strategy development projects from brief to delivery, for national and international clients. We are looking for someone who understands the overall process and can actually get stuck in and complete the work itself

Skills Required:

Advertising/Communications campaign planning (defining key insight, required customer outtake and strategic approach to campaign development)

Ability to create and deliver compelling and engaging presentations, workshops and briefings, to clients and the team at WHAM

Brand Positioning, Brand Architecture and Vision/Values development

Ability to set up and manage research projects to develop key insights

Additional requirements:

Have strong analytical skills and enjoy insight and idea development

Be a true team player, able to work well with account teams and creative teams

Be smart and flexible in their approach to getting things done

Be good at communicating with and working with other members of the strategy team

Copywriting skills advantageous

Frequent domestic and foreign travel, sometimes at short notice will be expected
