Bookbus Driver/Resource Centre Assistant

ANNUAL SALARY £15,726 - £16,440

TERM TIME ONLY, FIXED TERM CONTRACT - 1 YEAR

The School Library Service is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and capable person to drive the 7.5 tonne vehicle that delivers our book exchange service to schools throughout Essex. You will need to have a current driving licence with C1 category if your driving test was passed after 1997. Considerable experience of driving, manoeuvring and parking of large vehicles is required.

A calm personality will be an advantage as you will be working to a demanding timetable. A flexible attitude to your working day is also essential as you will be responsible for re-stocking the vehicle and assisting pupils and staff visiting the bus. This post will be term time only.
