Body Component Engineer - 24342 - £22.35 Ltd Co

Do you have experience working on Body Components ideally within the Automotive Industry?

My Client, A global automotive OEM requires a Body Component Engineer for a long term contract position based at Gaydon, West Midlands. The role is offering a rate of £22.35 Ltd Co per hour

As a Body Component Engineer you will support the delivery of programmes through to production. You will be responsible for the design progression and validation activities such as, Bill of Materials (BoM) integrity, Problem Resolution (AIMS), Change Management (WERS), Product Integrity (PCPA) and Parts Submission Warrant (PSW), processes to ensure that all changes are implemented robustly. You should also have some of the following:

* Engineering knowledge of Body Engineering component design, function, performance, and production and manufacturing requirements.
* Significant experience in use of engineering tools such as FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc. Familiar with 8D process.
* Proven project time line management.
* Knowledge of BoM, WERS, AIMS,PSW
* Ideally degree educated

* Long term contract initially to March 2014 looked at being renewed yearly
* Pay rate of £22.35 ltd Co per hour

If you have worked in body engineering on delivery of components within the automotive sector you will be ideal for this position. If you do have experience in other industries such as rail or aerospace this will also be considered.
