BMC ADDM Appliance Developer

I currently have a position available for a BMC ADDM Appliance developer to join a highly reputable company in Bournemouth.

Role: BMC ADDM Appliance developer
Location: Bournemouth
Rate: up to £450 per day
Duration: 6 months
Start date: beginning of September but will be happy to wait for the right person

Previous experience required and responsibilities

- Define the "Build To" specification for the hardware/OS
- Collaborate with an assigned project manager to track the Hardware ordering and physical deployment
- Complete the ADDM configuration of two appliances based upon the prior POC
- Design and develop scripts to integrate inputs and outputs from the appliances to other standard systems
- Establish Data Backups and restore capabilities
- Requirement to cater for backing up data to be able to restore the production appliance to "as was" state for any quarterly period going back a number of years (Business decision pending on how long the source appliance data needs to be retained)
- Manage and conduct the testing through QA, UAT testing cycles.
- Collaborate with business users to arrange and approve tests on live systems using standard change management tools (ITSM)
- Assist Business users in understanding results and resolving issues.
- Direct and Manage the Production Implementation adhering to appropriate change controls.
- Document the new service and handover to Production support.
- Key Documentation includes how business users will elect to include their host(s) in a particular scan cycle, how they will submit pre-requisite data and how results/issues will be communicated.
