Biotech Statistician Job

SENIOR BIOTECH STATISTICIAN needed for a CONTRACT TO HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in Chesterfield, MO.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Statistical analysis
- Data and statistical modelling
- Knowledge and understanding of Agricultural Sciences

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide statistical analyses of field and greenhouse results including data management and data QC
- Provide trial design consultation
- Develop generalized procedures to evaluate and improve advancement decisions
- Leveraging molecular data to improve our product development efforts

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- An M.S. degree in Statistics, Statistical Genetics, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or related a field. A Masters degree in an agricultural science discipline with background and extensive work experience in statistics will also be acceptable.
- Proficiency with SAS and/or R programming.
- Experience with Design of Experiments, Mixed Model, Regression, and other basic statistical tools and the implementation of these techniques in SAS and/or R.
- Experience in statistical consulting
- Strong teamwork skills.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with analysis of data from agricultural experiments
- Background and experience in computational statistics/data mining/model building
