IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Implementation of new evaluation methods within the area of genomics and biomarker statistics
-Development of specifications for and implementation of computationally intensive analyses and complex simulations
-Perform exploratory analyses, using advanced graphical methods
-Evaluate biomarker/genomics studies using advanced statistical methods
-Apply innovative data management and evaluation knowledge to initiatives in the area of responsibility
-Provide refractor solutions to customized and re-usable modules

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Scientific background in Mathematics or Statistics, Computer Science or related professional background
-Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of new statistical methodology for biomarker/genomics studies in SAS and in R
-Demonstrated experience with R package Bioconductor
-Experience in the evaluation of pharmacogenomics studies, programming in high dimensional data environment (e.g. affymetrix data), derivation of prognostic/predictive models, cross-validation techniques
-Experience with implementation of simulation studies and resampling techniques
-Proficiency in graphical methods is required
-High technical competency is mandatory; good knowledge of MS Office products, and interactivity with statistical software
-Good communication skills and a good level of English (verbal and written) are obligatory
-Willingness to apply and adopt new technologies, and to stay up-to-date
