Biostatistician wanted for our Zurich based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Masters' Degree in Biostatistics or similar discipline
- 3+ years' experience as Biostatistician in pharmaceutical industries
- Practical knowledge of GI/IBD therapeutic area, programming and basic principles of applied biostatistics
- Good understanding of statistical methods used in clinical trial data analyses and the use of clinical statistical software, particularly SAS programming skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Supporting Real World Evidence study design with Claims/EMR, Chart review, PRO, prospective observational study and data analysis as well as interventional Medical Affairs Company Sponsored study design and analyses
- Specifying statistical terms, equations for derived variables and algorithms for analysis
- Producing statistical analysis outputs in a timely and collaborative fashion
- Collaborating on statistical methodology with medical and scientific team members and providing statistical interpretation of results with the aim of applying to clinical use of data
- Writing statistical analysis sections of protocols including Statistical Analysis Plans in addition to reviewing protocols for scientific integrity Reviews programming of electronic case report forms
- Ensuring all statistical work is processed on time to appropriate quality levels and the protocol design objectives are met and protocol standards are maintained
