For our client in BASEL we are looking for a BIOLOGICS SCIENTIST WITH EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITH MAMMALIAN CELL CULTURE for a 12-MONTH CONTRACT.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Department of Integrated Biologics Profiling evaluates new therapeutic proteins at the transition from research to development.
As a scientist in Cell line development group, you will generate stable CHO production cell lines of antibodies and other recombinant proteins.
You will apply plasmid transfection method and sterile mammalian cell culture technique.
Your responsibility will include timely delivery of high quality CHO cell line also you will initiate In-process analytics of products and monitor the results.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- MSc. or BSc in biotechnology, biology, preferably with professional experience.
- Laboratory technician (BTA, Laborant),
- Profound experience in working with mammalian cell culture in shake flask scale (CHO cells).
- Good command of German is essential.
- Knowledge of English would be an advantage.
- Exeprience with ELN from IDBS and/or DQP (or GMP) is a plus.
- Ideally first industrial experience.
You will work in a closely interacting team and you will also plan and execute experiments. You have high scientific interest, a good technical understanding and you work reliably.
A clear and accurate documentation in Electronic Lab Book of your work is essential as assurance of DQP standards (Documentation and Qualification Practices ).
