BIOINFORMATICS DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in RIDGEFIELD, CT.

- Bioinformatics experience
- Experience with small to large-scale web applications and services

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Interact with TA partners to understand the portfolio needs, translate biological questions into actionable bioinformatics data analysis tasks.
- Set goals for ad hoc data analysis and pipeline development
- Collect user requirements, define/refine the scope of bioinformatics applications
- Working closing with the Contractor to track the progress of the Application development
- Data analysis, interpretation
- Reporting, communication of results to TA and SP partners

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Ability to build small to large-scale web applications and services
- Experience with scientific data curation, integration, process, and analytic workflow
- Proficiency in CSS, HTML, Javascript, D3.Js, jQuery, Anugular JS, JSON and other web production tools
- Can dynamically create, modify, and style elements on web Front End with ease
- Proficiency in R/Shiny, Python/Django/Flask, Java/J2EE/JBOSS, or Scala/SPARK.
- Relational databases (MySQL, SQLLite, etc) and NoSQL databases.
