Biochemical Formulation Engineer Job

BIOCHEMICAL ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in WEST SACARAMENTO, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience in Fermentation
- Project Coordination
- Laboratory experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Plan and implement fermentation experiments independently, including setup and turn-around of fermentation tanks.
- Provide fermentation products to various internal and external departments
- Provide written and oral summaries of experimental results to manager and project team
- Responsible for the maintenance of relevant equipment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- B.S. in chemical engineering, bioengineering, microbiology or related field
- At least two years of industry experience related to degree obtained
- Ability to operate bioreactors at various scales up to 20 L.
- A high degree of independence, proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications, and excellent communication skills are also required
