Bio Process Technician - Weigh and Dispense Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for BIO PROCESS TECHNICIAN - WEIGH AND DISPENSE to join our client in Oceanside, CA.

POSSESSION OF OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A TSA SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Completing assigned tasks which include cleaning, sterilizing, and prepping glassware and parts used in the manufacturing environment.
- Weighing and Dispensing materials for use in Manufacturing.
- Work with senior technicians and leads to prioritize tasks and assignments and make recommendations to maximize efficiency and productivity based on shift needs.
- Stocking, inventory management and environmental monitoring.
- Will be asked to use pallet jacks.
- Mechanically inclined and are able to meet the physical demands of weighing materials and transporting items on pallet jacks on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn fast will be key.
- Upon successful integration into this role, additional roles with SAP and GMP operations may be added to your roles and responsibilities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- HS minimum one (1) year experience within cGMP regulated environment
- Familiarity of computer-based systems. (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Google Docs)
- Must be able to work weekends and off shift.
- MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 LBS. AND STAND FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME.
- Must possess good problem solving, interpersonal communication, and team skills and have experience and knowledge in a GMP environment.
- Prior experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environment. (cGMP)
- Prior training in chemicals/powder handling. (HAZWOPPER)
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic math Knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be a self-starter with strong focus on quality, details, results and application of cGMP.
- Medical Testing Requirements: Vision, Hearing, Respirator Evaluation and Fit Test

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION:

- Preferred College Degree in business or Biotech.
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment and Forklifts is preferred.
- Experience in warehousing is preferred
