Bio Process Technician Job

BIO PROCESS TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Oceanside, CA.

POSSESSION OF OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A TSA SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- cGMP environment
- Must work weekends and off shift

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for completing assigned tasks which include cleaning, sterilizing, and prepping glassware and parts used in the manufacturing environment.
- Weighing and Dispensing materials for use in Manufacturing.
- Work with senior technicians and leads to prioritize tasks and assignments and make recommendations to maximize efficiency and productivity based on shift needs.
- Will include stocking, inventory management and environmental monitoring.
- Will be asked to use pallet jacks.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Familiarity of computer-based systems. (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Google Docs,)
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic math Knowledge
- Prior experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environment. (cGMP)
- Prior training in chemicals/powder handling. (HAZWOPPER)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must possess good problem solving, interpersonal communication, and team skills and have experience and knowledge in a GMP environment.
- Experience in warehousing preferred
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment and Forklifts preferred.
- Must be a self-starter with strong focus on quality, details, results and application of cGMP.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work weekends and off shift.
- Medical testing requirements: vision, hearing, respirator evaluation and fit test
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment and Forklifts preferred.
- Mechanically inclined and are able to meet the physical demands of weighing materials and transporting items on pallet jacks on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn fast will be key.
- Upon successful integration into this role, additional roles with SAP and GMP operations may be added to your roles and responsibilities.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Preferred College degree in business or biotech.
- HS minimum one (1) year experience within cGMP regulated environment
