Billing Analyst | Long-Term Contract

Large service provider seeking a Billing Data Analyst with a well developed understanding of billing for complex contracts including data analysis, pricing methodologies, commercial drivers and strategic thinking.

Your role as Billing Data Analyst is to undertake back of house functions including data files validation, loading of files, bill generation and take responsibility for resolving complex bill data/error issues encompassing relationship, issue management between data owners and System owner.

You will provide high level of technical advice, to support front of house operational bill delivery teams and take the lead in bill service improvement for nominated customers.

You will have the opportunity to be a key contributor of CT-Bill Operation Team and applying your investigation skills to assist the company in ensuring it meets its contractual obligations and monthly delivery schedule.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Be individual specialist to achieve business outcomes and act as bill data SME.
- Conduct analytics to support various business initiatives on request. This would entail clarification of the objective with the requestor, sourcing the data, checking quality of the data, processing the data, recording the process steps and validating the outputs.
- Engage and coordinate interactions with business process leads and data teams.
- Develop a sound understanding of the key strategic business direction across the billing process.
- Adhere to various frameworks and process.
- Ensure data integrity and quality is maintained.
- Apply your knowledge of analysis across customer contracts.
- Be responsible in developing and maintaining effective networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Act with appropriate urgency to ensure deliverables are met within specified time frames.
- Provide input and/or leadership as requested for specific customer initiatives to refine and enhance process.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Competent level of ability in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
- Advanced problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to resolve complex data issues.
- Knowledge of process, error management and data analysis
- Excellent analysis skills, with experience in writing documents.
- Ability to work independently and a high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of process management methodologies.
- Specific knowledge of CT-Billing processes is very highly desirable
