BIG DATA/HADOOP ENGINEER
For one of the banks in Switzerland, Zurich area, we are looking for a Big Data/Hadoop Engineer
DESCRIPTION
- Design and development of the Big Data architecture with technologies such as Hadoop stack, MapReduce, Hive, Spark and Impala
- Assist and support proof of concepts as Big Data technology evolves
- Ensure solutions developed adhere to security and data entitlements
- Propose best practises/standards
- Translate functional and technical requirements into detail design
PROFILE
- Relevant education with a background in the field of Big Data
- >4 years of hands on development experience in such as JAVA/Scala/Python
- HDFS experience of advantage
- Full-stack development experience would be a plus
- Scripting languages: Python
- Strong knowledge of Linux and bash
- Good level in English
