Big Data Engineer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

-Daily support, monitoring and maintenance of the Analytics Platform (Azure)
-Ingestion: loading of data from a variety of data sources
-Together with data experts, create "Data Marts" (SQL DB's and Tables) out of raw data (mostly JSON)

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Profound engineering experience and experience working with data
-Good knowledge of the Azure Big Data/Analytics stack (EventHubs, Blob Storage, HD Insight etc)
-MS SQL experience
-Familiar with JavaScript, Python, JSON
-Hive and DataBricks/Sparc experience is a plus
-Other relevant aspects: A genuine interest and curiosity around Big Data topics and a positive "can-do" attitude
-Language(s): English skills mandatory, German is a plus
