Our client who are a global Investment bank are looking for a Big Data Engineer to join them on a contract basis for an 6 month contract with a 6 month extension.
The role will be based in Zurich. The candidate will be based within the Cyber Security Team.
The candidate will be responsible for design, engineering, testing and transition to operations capabilities to rapidly process large volumes of data from many disparate sources providing enhanced knowledge to the client's security teams and risk functions. The Data Engineer will also be responsible for providing data in a ready-to-use form to data scientists who are looking to run queries and algorithms against the information for predictive analytics, machine learning and data mining purposes.
Candidates must have the following experience that includes at least 3 years of hands-on experience and excellent skills in Log management/big data platforms Splunk/Arcsight/ELK (Platforms). HAnds on experience of ETL process and data processing (log data) integrate systems together.
