Big Data Developer - Hadoop Developer

Our well-known Fortune 500 client is looking for a Hadoop guru to join the their Big Data development team on a long-term contract.

You'll need lots of experience developing in the Hadoop ecosystem. Experience developing ETL jobs using Sqoop is a huge plus. Exposure to some of the query and distribution platforms that they use would be helpful (eg, Spark, Shark, Kafka, Mule ESB, in addition to Hive, HBase and Flume).

You'll also need lots of experience developing RESTful services, using Spring Core, Batch and Integration libraries.

Required:

- Solid Hadoop development experience in IBM BigInsight or Cloudera CDH or HDP platforms.
- Hands on MR1, MR2, Hive, HBase, Flume and Sqoop experience.
- Spring Core, Spring Batch, and Spring Integration.
- RESTful Web Services, JMX, XML and JSON.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.

Plusses:

- Apache Kafka, Spark, Shark and Yarn.
- Experience working with IBM CDC or Golden Gate. Mule ESB.
