My client is looking for a Big Data Developer & Analyst to Implement data transformation pipelines in Big Data Platform such as (Spark, Scala, Python). The right candidate will be Assisting Data Developers on establishing connectivity and automation for data sourcing.
Responsibilities:
- Code and design review
- Data science including data querying in SQL
- Query, process and analyze large data sets
- Data reconciliation
Skills Required:
- Experience working in data and big data projects - preferably in data transformation area
- Ability to write complex SQL queries (preferable experience in DWH)
- Hadoop inc. Cloudera hands on experience
- Python
- Apache Spark
- Scala (optional)
- Unix Red Hat Scripting (optional)
- DWH platforms
- Java
- Control-M, rundeck
1+ Year Contract
