Big Data Architect Job

HADOOP/BIG DATA ARCHITECT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Gilbert, AZ.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Hadoop
- HortonWorks
- HDFS
- HBase
- Hive

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Design, maintain, monitor, and problem resolution of all ETL processes
- Identify data discrepancies and data quality issues
- Hands on understanding of Hadoop technologies
- Familiarity with the Big Data issues surrounding Digital data and clickstream data.
- The applicant will have an understanding of best practices and standards for Hadoop application design and implementation.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Understanding of REST architecture
- Experience in Agile environment

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Position requires a data specialist who has a strong understanding of Big Data architecture and solid experience in Hadoop, data warehousing, operational data stores and large scale implementations.
