Job Title: Bid Manager

Role Summary
Perform sales support activities for a number of opportunities under the direction of the opportunity lead. Manage action items, drive internal approval process, co-ordinate key events internally and with the client. Maintain the system and tools associated with the sales cycle consistently. Integrate outcomes from work streams: solution, pricing, legal, commercial, proposal management. Be the interface between the opportunity lead and the commercial business office.

Key Responsibilities
Provide bid management support to sales directors and opportunity leads on multiple opportunities
Work with account deployment teams leads to ensure resource plans are completed and in line with financial design targets
Input expected project costs (labour and non-labour) into Global Pricing System (GPS) for project not supported
Interface with the functions of the account commercial business office - Contract Financial Management (CFM), Contract Management (CM), Commercial Project Management (CPMO) and Human Resources (HR)
Apply sales process and sales campaign management methodology to a sales opportunity after qualification
Utilize corporate knowledge repositories, sales/campaign support personnel, and best practices
Manage interface with Sales Lead(s), Legal, Finance, Contracting, Human Resources, Recruiting, Marketing, and other internal organizations
Support Sales Lead in the following activities:
o Maintain and update the Opportunity Management system
o Create Global Pricing System (GPS)
o Manage and facilitate the New Business Management (NBM) approval process
o Schedule QA and solution reviews
o Co-ordinate the deliverables at each sales stage (OA-3B)
o Facilitate corporate reviews
o Create and lead presentation for Stage Reviews and obtain necessary approvals
o Support client delivery and business development teams in building relationships with internal stakeholders, client decision makers and key influencers
o Participation in ongoing deal qualification decisions
o Monitoring and administration of the Business Development budget
o Manage and engage relationships with teaming partners, subcontractors, third parties and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
o Ensure capture strategy and proposal activities are compliant with internal controls;
o Accountable for ensuring corporate and internal reviews are conducted
o Identify key members of the proposal team
o Report and track the status of opportunities

Promote a smooth transition from Sales Team leadership to Delivery Team ownership

Relationships:
Reports to: Commercial Director
Key relationships: Sales Directors, Core Team Leads, Managing Director's, CIT Deployment Leads
Supervises: Bid Team(s)
External Relationships: Clients executives

Primary Capability/Specialty:
Sales support and co-ordination
Qualifications:

Education: Undergraduate degree, advance university degree preferred

Work Experience:
Minimum of 7+ years of selling/business development experience and proven track record against multiple million dollar sales targets
Experience with client relationship building and relationship management
Outsourcing and/or large complex sales management and business development experience

Work Requirements: Travel as required (typically 20-30%)

o Quality Assurance procedures and opportunity reviews
