BI TEST ANALYST

Our established Client in Netherlands is making major improvements in the area of Test Automation and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery. They offer challenging projects with extremely clever and motivated colleagues, a global scope and an environment with people from about 26 different nationalities.

JOB OBJECTIVE

The Test Analyst is an independent critical thinking part of one or more multi-disciplinary project teams who likes to work in a software development environment that is both exciting and demanding. Projects can take place in a cross-departmental environment.

The Test Analyst is empirical and informs the project team about observations of the system under test. The Test Analyst collaborates with the project team to automate tests where feasible. Test preparation, test execution, progress reporting and communication about testing activities with the project team are part of the Test Analyst's tasks. The Test Analyst proactively discusses improvements to testing

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Minimally seven years experience in Testing.
- Minimally three years experience in Financial sector.
- Bachelor or Master degree in ICT or Economics and/or able to demonstrate a clear affinity with ICT and an interest in wholesale banking.
- Expert knowledge of SQL and DB queries.
- Experience with DWH/BI and DataVault.
- Toolknowledge of Team Foundation Server, SpecFlow en Microsoft Test Manager.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum.
- Experience with chain testing in a very dynamic and technical environment.
- Experience as a test Professional in complex environments and large projects.

METHODS & TECHNIQUES

Within IS&D, we have adopted Agile (Scrum, Kanban) as the software development methodology. Certification as either ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst or TMap Next Test Engineer is required.

You should be familiar with Context-driven and Exploratory Testing, and have hands on experience with test automation. Besides that, knowledge of and experience with test (management) tools and project management methodologies like Prince2 are required.

CONTRACT

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 12months (freelance)

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Fluent in Dutch & English

LOCATION: Central Netherlands
