BI Sharepoint Developer (S40)

The main objective of this role is to deliver effective BI and SharePoint solutions that meet the current and future needs of the business.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE IN SHAREPOINT 2010 AND BI TOOLS TO BE CONSIDERED.

Ideally able to identify elegant and pragmatic solutions to business process problems with specific focus on dashboard and reporting solutions and workflow processes. A strong background in Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and SQL Server 2008/2012 BI environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Contribute subject matter expertise and provide mentorship and training to team. 
- Develop guidelines for and mature the governance of our SharePoint environment. 
- Analyse, design, develop, test and deploy BI, reporting and workflow solutions to meet the needs of the business. 
- Support of all testing processes and coordination of development support as required, pre and post release 
- Review of business and technical requirements and implement in line with environment constraints 
- Understand and ensure best design and quality software practices

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

- Experience in SharePoint 2010 and SQL Server 2008/2012 BI solutions. ESSENTIAL
- Knowledge of business workflows and understanding of the capabilities of Workflow Foundation, PerformancePoint Service, Windows SharePoint Services, and SharePoint Designer. ESSENTIAL
- Ability to write complex MDX and SQL queries ESSENTIAL
- Exposure to financial data and business systems DESIRABLE
- Testing DESIRABLE
- Understanding of new BI features of SQL Server 2012 DESIRABLE
- Experience with Agile (SCRUM) DESIRABLE
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility ESSENTIAL
- Ability to demonstrate supportive relationships with peers, partners, and corporate clients ESSENTIAL
