BI FUNCTIONAL ANALYST - BRUSSELS - FRENCH OR DUTCH SPEAKING

For one of our prestigious Banking clients in Brussels, we are urgently seeking a FRENCH OR DUTCH SPEAKING BI FUNCTIONAL ANALYST to become part of the Data Department. You will start ASAP and the project will run until at least the end of the year.

The mission of your team is - amongst other things - to develop and maintain the BI assets.

As a functional analyst you shall:

- Be the linking pin between the business teams & the development team
- Understand business requirements and build a functional analysis which covers needs of the business according to the BI reference architecture
- Collaborate with the development team
- Set up test strategy
- Perform BI acceptance test
- Support the business during the UAT phase

REQUIREMENTS:

- French or Dutch speaking
- Fluent in English
- Over 3 years experience in BI environments
- Knowledge of BI systems
- Knowledge of BI modelling techniques (such as Kimball)
- Knowledge in Datamodelling tools (such as power designer)
- Knowledge of functioning of ETL tool and DBMS Systems (Oracle/Sybase)
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Mainframe environment
- Experience in a large IT environment
- Experience with working in a complex organization

Having experience in the banking sector, with BI systems in a financial institution and experience with powercenter ETL are considered a plus
