BI/DWH CONSULTANT - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

LANGUAGES: ENGLISH and DUTCH

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- 2-5 years' of relevant experience in the domain is preferable
- Good knowledge of SQL AND SQL SCRIPTING
- Knowledge and relevant experience oF BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE, DATA WAREHOUSING, DATA MINING OR HANDLING OF BIG DATA WITH AN EXPERIENCE IN THE ENVIRONMENTS OF SAP BO (CRYSTAL REPORTS ARE PREFERRED)
- Advanced knowledge in Excel and very good knowledge in other MS Office suite tools (Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) is a plus
- Ability to communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Design the reporting side of IT service solution that fits to the requested needs
- Maintain and further develop the existing DWH environment
- Develop/maintain new reports for customer and management purposes (operational & financial)
- Develop/maintain new and existing SQL scripts on multiple databases for ad hoc reports or on request for special ad hoc analysis
- Create, run and distribute daily, weekly, quarterly and yearly reports (using the existing reporting environment)
- Analyze all data and trends and report unexpected deviations, allowing implementation of corrective actions/improvements of the operational processes and organizational structures if deemed necessary
- Work within the team to support cross departmental requirements
- Support the team where and when necessary by developing new reports
- Propose and implement automated deviation warnings mechanism to allow continuous monitoring
- Setup and maintain CMDB structures for new and existing projects
