BI Developer - SSIS - SSAS - Switzerland - 3-6 Months Initial

My Market leading client are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join an exciting project within their BI team.

The position will be based in Basel for an initial 3-6 month contract with extension likely.

Key responsibilities:

Implementing the Business Intelligence and analytics platform
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Strong Datamodelling skills to the analytics and reporting applications
Provide support for production systems
Working with senior management and executives to develop the data strategy plans

Qualifications, skills and experience:

5+ years extensive design and development using SSIS and SSAS -
Experience with Tabular and Multidimensional solutions
5+ years experience in data warehousing design, data vault modelling, (including dimensional modelling), physical design, data quality and ETL

Experience with automation tools (Biml, NBI etc) and in managing build/releases an advantage
Experience developing, implementing and coordinating data governance activities
Experience with finance an advantage
Understanding of NoSQL and Big Data, data science concepts, machine learning R and Python would be an advantage

Excellent communication skills with fluent English (oral and written); additional languages desirable
