BI Developer

BI DEVELOPER REDMOND, WA 7 TO 8 MONTH CONTRACT

Our client is a hugely popular GAMES STUDIO looking for a BI Developer to join the Business Intelligence team. As a member of the BI team, you will help build state-of-the-art analytics systems that are at the heart of the studio decision making process. You will build large scale warehouses in multi-source environments, from ETL through to OLAP, presentation and data feeds to Real Time production systems. We are also looking to expand the client s test-driven methodologies, so you will be working with both the development and test team representatives to define and execute on quality initiatives.

Responsibilities will also include working with key business representatives to define and refine key metrics and processes. The successful candidate will possess superior testing skills, experience with data quality systems and techniques, as well as a very strong attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years experience with SQL Server
- Expert level T-SQL knowledge required
- 5+ years experience designing and implementing scalable ETL processes including data movement (SSIS, replication, etc.) and quality tools
- 2+ years experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- 2+ years experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- 2+ years experience with C#
- Strong Scripting skills using PowerShell or similar language
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with VLDB
- Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript, and Web Services a plus
