BI Consultant (Microsoft BI Focus) - Yorkshire base - 40-60k

An experienced Business Intelligence professional with excellent SQL Server and Microsoft BI Stack experience is required to work as a senior BI Consultant for my Yorkshire based client. This is a senior role within the business and requires a candidate who has excellent communication & client facing skills; in addition to a solid technical background in delivering front-end business intelligence solutions using the SQL BI Stack.

Core technical experience required:
- SQL Server RDBMS (2005/2008/2012)
- Microsoft BI Stack inc. SSRS / SSIS / SSAS
- Front-end BI solutions such as SharePoint / PerformancePoint / Excel Services etc

The primary responsibilities of the role involve assessing client business and user requirements; evaluating existing BI systems and recommending, architecting and implementing new business intelligence solutions using the SQL and Microsoft Stack.

As referenced above; a large part of this role involves designing front-end BI solutions (dashboards, presentation layers etc) using the MS platform with Microsoft Share Point, Performance Point, Excel Services etc and experience with some or all of these is essential.

This is a consultancy role and will involve a mix of home, office and sites based working (approximately a third each). My client have offices in North Yorkshire and a customer base largely in the Midlands and North of England. All travel to and from the office or client sites is expensed.

This is a great opportunity to get experience working with a large number of house-hold name clients on behalf of a Microsoft Gold Partner who provide up to the minute training with all the latest technologies including SQL 2012 / Azure, SharePoint 2013 etc.

The remuneration for this role includes a basic salary of between £40-60,000 per annum depending on experience & a strong benefits package.
