Senior Business Intelligence Consultant / Developer - 6 Month + contract

Senior Business Intelligence Consultant / Business Intelligence Developer / SSAS / Qlikview Tableau / Public Sector / Data Warehouse

My client are seeking a Senior BI Consultant / Developer to work on building the Business Intelligence Systems for the independent regulator within the Public sector. The contract will be initially 6 months with strong scope for extensions.

Duties:

> Responsible for the design of the technical and information architectures underpinning the client's databases;
> Responsible for the integrity of the data and information that resides on the client's databases and technical architecture;
> Responsible for implementing an application development methodology and testing protocol to ensure all applications are delivered to a high technical specification and standard of quality;
> Has responsibility for maintaining an the client's databases and adapting them as new business requirements emerge.

Key skills:

> SQL Server (SSAS to build cubes and write MDX)
> SSIS + Good knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack.
> Vast experience with Qlikview and Tableau
> From a data-set perspective, knowledge of the NHS and pricing would be desirable.
