BI Analyst - SQL Excel VBA

THE ROLE:

BI Senior Analyst/Team Mentor

LOCATION:

Dublin City Centre

JOB PURPOSE:

The BI Senior Analyst creates a positive user experience for anyone utilising reporting being generated from the Resource Planning and MI team. They analyse how we see the raw data translated into useable resources that meet Firstsource and client requirements, and create improved experiences that are efficient and effective. They manage the distribution of such information to relevant people as properly requested.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Performance, development, evaluation and coaching of a team of analysts.
Analyze and audit a wide variety of strategic intelligence sources for data accuracy
Provide strategy, prioritization, and guidance for successful team projects completion.
Rational database design
Spread-sheet modelling using structured defined principles
Research, consolidate, analyze and prepare reports for all LOBs,
Coordinate the production and timely delivery of strategic projects and ad-hoc enquiries
Systematically validate information following standard operating procedures.
Keep current with the direction of the needs of internal customers. Establish and maintain excellent communication with all stakeholders
Responsible for updates and early alerting on new trends and critical developments by a daily monitoring of LOBs. Identify business opportunities or threats.
Create, maintain and regularly distribute strategic analyses and communicate intelligence findings to key stakeholders internally

KEY SKILLS

Must be highly proficient in excel including advanced VBA
Knowledge of SQL is desirable
2-3 years Contact Centre experience
Excellent communication skills.
Quantitative, analytical and reporting skills.
Must be very detailed oriented.
Proactive, problem solver and professional attitude.
Must be able to consistently perform in a high pace, deadline oriented, multitask/project environment.
Ability to prioritize with excellent time management skills.
Ability to establish and sustain strong internal customer' relationships and effectively balance customer needs with intelligence priorities and resources.
People/stakeholder management skills. Strong ability to interact effectively with all levels
