BCBS 239 Risk Analyst

For our client in Zurich, we are looking for a BCBS 239 Analyst for a 18 months' assignment

TASK OVERVIEW

- Support RtB (run the bank) tasks of the team
- Support the strategic BCBS 239 project (eg adjusting the data sourcing from Legacy systems to strategic IT systems, User Acceptance Testing, Review of Business Requirements)
- Support tactical efficiency projects (eg Next Generation)

YOUR ROLE

- Create and update Management & Governance risk reports for the attention of Senior Management, Risk Committees, Risk Officers, Monitoring units, Regulators and internal/external audit
- Create ad-hoc evaluations and analyses on a wide range of loan and asset types, assessing portfolio, issuer and single client risks
- Preparation of worklists for the attention of Monitoring Risk Control Switzerland, but also for other global units within CRO (Chief Risk Office) Wealth Management
- Act as Subject Matter Expert in close collaboration with Investment Risk Control, Risk methodology, Risk officers, Project teams and Risk IT
- Source/prepare data and calculate risk measures with SQL-, SAS-, VBA-Coding

YOUR PROFILE

YOU HAVE

- Risk reporting/risk analysis experience
- Very good English skills
- VBA/SQL/SAS coding experience
- Good knowledge in credit risk and capital market instruments
- Excellent analytical skills combined with good team-playing and interpersonal skills You are
- Able to quickly understand new concepts
- A committed team player with a strong customer focus
