BATCH TESTING CONSULTANT
On behalf of our client, an interesting international company, we are currently looking for a Batch Testing Consultant for a contract role based in Zurich

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor of Batch processes on z/OS and distributed platforms
- Batch Alert Management, Incident Escalation, Reporting and close collaboration with Incident-/Problem-Management as well as application development and IT infrastructure
- Job Control tasks (ie hold, force complete, add condition, modify QR on batch jobs arising from incidents or changes)
- Knowledge of Batch Queue Management
- ITIL Change Management, Knowledge Management, Continues Service Improvement, etc.
- Batch Event Management, Alert Diagnosis & Resolution following pre-defined procedures
- Perform troubleshooting on failed Control-M batches/Jobs
- Documentation
- Provide Operational Acceptance recommendation for production readiness based on predefined criteria and processes
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Few years of experience in a similar role in a demanding environment
- Knowledge of Mainframe, z/OS, distributed platforms, ITIL and Control-M
- Strong experiences with coordination and communication with all required Batch stakeholder
- You work well under pressure
- Willingness to work in 24x7 shift environment
- Fluency in English is required
- German as an advantage
