Batch Scheduling Analyst- London- AutoSys- Banking- Contract

Immediate requirement for an AutoSys Analyst to work within a Infrastructure Service team

Team function & responsibilities
Service Delivery of "Business As Usual" batch scheduling support and the expansion of AutoSys batch scheduling.

Role responsibilities
- To Deliver strategy for batch scheduling services in consultation with and under the direction of the Data Centre management team.
- To deliver the Batch Scheduling team services.
- To assist in providing ongoing support and development of AutoSys-related batch scheduling services.
- Take responsibility to delivery of a coherent, progressive and considered batch scheduling strategy which balances the needs of the business, risk and capabilities.
- Manage work flow through the i-Task and Change Management systems, in additional to ad-hoc requests,
- Assist in the delivery of work packages to improve the AutoSys environment and the procedures defining its use,

Essential Experience: (Must have skills)

AutoSys Technical Knowledge
- Administration of AutoSys v4.5/v4.5.1
- iXp Admin v5.x or v6.x or v7.x,
- Administration of AutoSys eTrust Access Control or EIAM or EEM,
- Scheduling in AutoSys,
- Use of the AutoSys interfaces, Command line and iXP GUI,
- Understanding of the technical architecture and best practice configuration of AutoSys.

General
- Windows and UNIX Administration skills,
- Experience of Linux,
- O/S platform aware -UNIX (Solaris, Red Hat Linux), (Windows NT4, 2000, 2003 & XP).
- Knowledge of and experience with toolsets likely to be used within Batch Scheduling Services such as Ctirix/X-Windows terminal emulators, Microsoft Terminal Services and so forth.
