Basic Grade Cardiac Technician

TTM Healthcare are excited to announce we are now recruiting a Basic Grade Cardiac Technician on behalf of the leading private hospital and clinic in based in South Dublin. The Clinic has consistently built an unparalleled reputation in new high-tech surgical procedures, medical treatments and ground-breaking diagnostics. This reputation means that some of the best international and national consultants work here.

This is a progressive and pioneering hospital in which care for the patient is central. We are looking for candidates familiar with the techniques and range of equipment used in current medical practice for the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients referred to the Cardiology Department.

This is a contract position for 8 months to cover maternity leave with excellent salary offered
Working hours are 37hrs per week.

Key Requirements
Association of the Society of Cardiac Technicians.
Diploma in medical physics and physiological measurement from a college of technology or equivalent
Evidence of personal professional development.
Minimum 2 to 3 years experience post qualification is essential.
Ability to perform and interpret ECG's, Stress tests, Holter monitoring & analysis, BP
monitors & analysis, Event monitors & analysis & Pacemaker follow up
Training in Pacemaker implant and ICD implant and follow up, Echocardiography, Cardiac Catheterisation & Electrophysiology.
Ability to work co-operatively with others as part of the multi-disciplinary team helping and assisting
