Business Analyst ( Basel III ) - Luxembourg
DESCRIPTION:
Business Analyst - Basel III Regulatory Programme - CRD4/CRR
Working language: French and English
Initial duration: 12 months
BACKGROUND:
Under the new regulations CRD4/CRR, BCMS Luxembourg plans to revamp its information to produce new PRC FINREP and LIQREP (Liquidity) reports.
The resource searched incorporate Basel III projects teams as Business Analyst. She/he will report directly to the project manager.
GENERAL MISSION (Core Purpose of the Position)
The main elements of the mission are:
- Work project management on the execution phase of the project (up to implementation)
- Detailed design solution to implement a Datamart based on the collection and reporting tool existing Report Generator (FRS Global):
- Collecting data from various entities of the group BCMS (Back Office and accounting systems)
- Storing information locally and mapping to the reporting tool
- reporting's users (audit trail, analysis etc.. Reports)
- Change management: business presentations, training
- Approval of the solution implemented by the development team: developing test strategy, preparation of test cases, test execution, and support business in the UAT stage
- Support post-production
MAIN TASKS AND OBJECTIVES (depending on the position, daily tasks, deliverables)
Main tasks to ensure:
- Taking into account the record of framing
- Drafting of detailed functional specifications and business presentations (Finance Department, Risk, etc. OPER.), According to project standards BCMS
- Approval of the solution developed in-house
- Writing test strategy
- Writing test plans and test sets
- Test Execution
- Support change management and deployment:
- Supports business presentation, training
- Description of business processes
- User Guide/administrator
- Assistance to users during the UAT phase (support)
- post-production services (warranty period)
PROFILE SOUGHT
Primary characteristics:
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory CRD4/CRR
- Knowledge of accounting (IFRS) and back offices
- Knowledge of regulatory reports PRC-FINREP-LIQREP (experience implementing prudential financial statements and knowledge of CEBS/EBA reports)
- Knowledge of banking products (primary and derivatives) and Culture Project (project owner)
Secondary characteristics
- Experience in the preparation and execution of complex tests (if possible FINREP reporting and LIQREP)
- Knowledge of tools used in the tests: Cognos, xls, SQL, JIRA, HP Quality Center
ABILITY OF THE WORKER RESOURCE:
- Very good analytical, writing and interpersonal skills
- Independent, organized and collaborative
- Will be considered a plus: knowledge of the Report Generator tool/RegPro/Fire (FRS Global)
