Banking Support in Client Tax Reporting - German & English Speaking

For a global client bank based here in Zürich we are searching for a candidate with Banking know-how to work in a long term contract.

The Job:

- Challenging support role in the production and quality improvement of international tax products
- Continuous build-up of know how regarding IT-based portfolio accounting and tax reporting for private clients
- Close cooperation with business and IT stakeholders in a challenging project environment

Your tasks:

- Quality ensurance of tax-relevant client data, as delivered from the core banking system via automated feeder systems to a specialized client tax reporting application
- Review of client data based on business rules and system release notes
- Case-based problem analysis regarding complex data requirements and high data quality standards
- Development and implementation of manual or semi-automated data correction solutions, optimized for an XML-based upload interface

We are looking for candidates with:

- SOME BANKING KNOW-HOW. YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT TRADING, SHARES AND INVESTMENT FUNDS. GRADUATES IN FINANCE/BANKING WITH NO EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
- Basic knowledge of relational database management systems and relevant MS Office applications (MS Excel, MS Access)
- Nice to have: the ability to develop and review SQL queries based on business specifications (if you do not have this you can be trained in SQL
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
- High quality consciousness
- Readiness to work independently, to cope with high workload and tight schedules
- Eagerness to learn, focused on the continuous improvement of existing data cleansing processes
- FLUENT GERMAN and English language skills (spoken and written)
