Banking Application Support: Hedgefund: £45k

Application Support Analyst (SQL Server, VBA, Windows, 45k, London)

My client, a leading hedgefund is currently looking for an application support analyst to join their team in London. This is a team, mainly made up of developers, who are looking to hire a dedicated application support analyst.

Day-to-day activities of this role include supporting multi-asset class applications including Fixed Income, FX and associated derivatives. The applications are for the company's trading business; including its order management, risk management and valuation platforms. Therefore once in this role, you will gain invaluable experience of the full investment life cycle and pick up some first class technical skills.

Minimum requirements for this role are:

- Excellent SQL skills (i.e. reading and altering stored procedures)
- Good all round scripting skills, Excel VBA would be the priority or C# or C++/
- Excellent academics
- Finance experience is highly beneficial, but not necessary
