Band 7 Clinical Psychologist - South Yorkshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join a Community CAMHS team within the NHS. The post is full time Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) for a duration of 3 months. The position is at Band 7 level with pay varying depending on experience. The service is looking for someone to start ASAP.

Specification:

*The post holder will be working in a CAMHS service working with children and Adolescents between the ages of 0-18years with various mental health problems.
*Must have experience of specialist psychological assessment, risk assessments and treatment of clients.
*The main duties of the post include assessing a client's needs, abilities or behaviour using a variety of methods, including psychometric tests, interviews and direct observation of behaviour.
*The candidate will also be offering therapy and treatments for difficulties relating to mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, social and interpersonal problems and challenging behaviour

Requirements:

*The post holder must have a current HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
*Must have at least 12 months experience working in a CAMHS team.
*To work effectively as part of a MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) and liaise with other mental healthcare professionals.
