Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist

Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist (Trauma and Spinal) required by TTM Healthcare on behalf of the largest Trust in Northern Ireland, based in Belfast.
This is a full time, locum role offering an excellent salary of £25,472-£34,189.

Key Requirements
Degree in Occupational Therapy or its equivalent
Possession of Full HCPC is essential
Post qualification experience of at least 3 years’ experience working with people with physical disabilities
At least 12 months post qualification experience of assessment and treatment of patients with acute conditions
This 12 months experience must include a minimum of 6 months experience in fractures and spinal injuries/surgery
in trauma and spinal injuries/older people
Experience in the assessment and prescription of special seating and wheelchairs
Access NI Clearance is essential if previously or currently located in Northern Ireland

Desirable
Experience of splinting and staff supervision
Level 1, 2 and 3 wheelchair skills training course
Experience in field work education
