Band 6 Learning Disabilities Physiotherapist Greater Manchester

Our client based in Greater Manchester are seeking a Part Time Locum Physiotherapist to work in a Learning Disabilities setting to cover a maternity leave vacancy in their busy NHS Hospital.

This locum position is immediately available, and will require a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to hit the ground running with a busy NHS caseload. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified with previous Learning Disabilities experience and will have excellent skills in the assessment, diagnostic and treatment.

The role will Involve:
- Adult learning disabilities with complex health needs.
- Community based integrated with the council
- Loan working with access to supervision
- Assessment and treatment planning with provision of guidelines and training for carers
- Complex care management
- Hydrotherapy
- Rebound therapy

24/7/postural management

Pay rate 23-27 per hour
01/12/2014 - 9 months
*15 hours per week on a Tuesday and Wednesday.
