Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist - Oxfordshire

Our client has a vacancy for a Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist to work in Oxfordshire. The pay rate for this role is 22-25 per hour.

Duties -
- Making emergency assessments in a busy acute setting.
- Facilitate early and safe discharge from hospital.
- Preventing hospital admission using planned therapy programs.
- Using up-to-date Occupational Therapy techniques to facilitate independence within patients.

Requirements -
You must have a relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy, be professionally registered in the area you wish to work and be eligible to work in the UK. Candidates applying to work in England must hold a HCPC registration. You must have a minimum of 2 year post qualifying experience working in Accident and Emergency and/or Emergency Assessment Unit is required. Intermediate Care experience would also be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
