Bacljp - Accountant (I)

I am currently looking for accountants for one of our tier one clients that has offices in london and Manchester.

Candidates for these roles must have experience in the financial services and be fully qualified accountants possessing ACA, ACCA and CIMA qualifications. Candidates with a 2.1 or 1.1 in a maths based subject (Sciences, engineering, maths etc from a Russell Group University) will be looked upon favourably.

The bank is looking for a highly driven, proactive individual to join the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Corporate Planning team within the Chief Financial Office (CFO). the team provides Sales, Trading and Banking for Corporates and Institutions in 22 countries across the region. The EMEA Corporate Planning team has a strong reputation across the group and works across all lines of business and countries.

The team's key responsibilities include:

- Regional Planning and Analysis
- Executive Support
- Strategic Projects
- Regional Reporting
- Market and Competitor Insight

The roles are highly varied and challenging and will involve working across all of Corporate Planning's responsibilities. Candidates must be versatile, able to produce high quality work under tight timescales, work across business lines and communicate with senior executives and leaders.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Team player who is able to produce high quality, accurate output under tight timescales
- Very strong financial reporting and modelling skills including the ability to build and use spreadsheets and use key systems to source data
- Very strong presentation skills: ability to present key messages, recommendations and information in a clear and insightful way (proficient user of PowerPoint to external presentation standard)
- Very strong communication skills: ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally and to feel comfortable delivering financial analysis, insights and recommendations to senior individuals.
