Business Analyst/Solvency II/Pillar 3

The role is for a business analyst working as part of the Solvency II Pillar 3 Automation Project and will involve performing detailed analysis and definition of data, system and business process requirements for Pillar 3 regulatory reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

Conduct root cause analysis of data gaps and articulate the underlying issues into formal remediation requirements.

Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure that the requirements are appropriately developed, challenged and validated.

Produce and maintain the Pillar 3 data dictionary

Assist with the data lineage source to target mapping exercises of the data attributes required to populate the data model for the IBM QRT solution.

Provide analysis of the qualitative reporting requirements for Pillar 3.

Prepare for and facilitate requirement workshops with the business and consultants.

Assess the quality of data to be used for Pillar 3 reporting and define validation rules for the target state.

Map the target business processes to form the Solvency II Reporting Calendar and integrate into wider end-to-end Finance business processes. Skills and Experience:

Qualified Accountant with extensive experience in defining of Pillar 3 data, system and process requirements, ideally within the Lloyd's environment

Ability to concisely articulate business requirements into formal specifications so that they can be suitable for IT.

Workshop facilitation experience.

Experienced in Business Process mapping (ideally using BPMN).

Needs to be proficient at using Microsoft Visio.

Data analysis skills - comfortable with working with Data Models.

Strong stakeholder management skills.

Proven track record of project and change delivery in a BA capacity.

Working experience with TM1 (desirable)

SQL skills to enable query investigation and resolution (desirable)
