BUSINESS ANALYST/REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER

SUMMARY:

We are looking for an ENGLISH AND GERMAN SPEAKING BUSINESS ANALYST/IT REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER. The role is dealing with the analysis and design of the business processes in the "Policies" area, CONTENT-CREATION PROCESS (AUTHORING) AND CONTENT-PROVISIONING TO THE USERS (CONSUMING).

The analyst will be expected to review and document existing systems and processes, derive new requirements and process definitions from it and contribute to the design of new functionality, fitting into the framework given by the vendor's product we are implementing. THE ANALYST WILL BE CLOSELY WORKING WITH GLOBAL STAKEHOLDERS, BUT PARTICULARLY WITH THE CORE BUSINESS TEAM IN ZURICH/NY AND THE GERMANY BASED VENDOR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the requirements engineering process; analyse, structure and document business requirements
- Create and deliver BA/RE work products, such as functional/non-functional requirements, business rules, use-cases, design of screen mock-ups, report specifications, etc.
- Manage requirement gathering and change process (business/IT/vendor workshops, version control, sign off meetings, etc.)
- In between business stakeholders, IT team and vendor

SKILLS:

- 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCES IN BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND REQUIREMENTS ENGINEERING
- PROFOUND KNOWLEDGE OF CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES (EG FILENET)
- FLUENT IN GERMAN AND ENGLISH
- Able to act between the business and the development team (vendor) and the IT team (implementation/integration)
- Manage requirements through the entire software development life cycle
- Experience in GUI design and/or visualization and technical Back End service description (interfaces)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Preferably previous experience as Requirements Engineer within Swiss banks
