For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a Business Analyst/Project Officer
Your responsibilities:
The business Project Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of mandated Change-the-Bank projects in the Cash Management and Payments business area.
As the ideal candidate you have the following qualifications and experience:
This includes, but is not limited, to the following tasks:
- Planning, steering and controlling of mandated project objectives (deliverables, quality, time, costs) leveraging the project steering instruments (project plan, status reports, change requests etc.)
- Responsible for the elaboration of the project mandates; assures project team organization, business case creation, funding approval and Steering Committee organization
- Leads project team, ensures adequate analysis, build and implementation as well as training and know-how transfer to Run-the-Bank units
- Supports and coaching of the project team members to define project and system requirements
- Informs across different management levels on progress and risks, drives decision making process and initiates escalations (if required)
- Plans and coordinates finalization and hand-over of the project to the Run-the-Bank teams As an ideal candidate you are a proactive team player who leads projects and drives them towards the agreed goals. In a challenging, dynamic environment you find solutions together with the business analysts, IT and the subject matter experts.
- At least 2 - 3 years of experience in managing projects (scoping, planning, steering, tracking, etc.), preferably in the area of strategic and operational process optimization
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a complex and sometimes international Matrix structure
- Used to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Proactive working style, good organizational and time-management skills
- Aptitude for critical thinking and target-oriented problem resolution
- Good understanding of banking processes front-to-back
- Sound knowledge information technology (IT) and operative process flow know-how
- Good communication and presentation skills across different management levels
- International mind-set, willingness to travel
- Master degree (or Bachelor with experience)
- Fluent in English and German
