IT AUDIT - VICE PRESIDENT - BANKING & INTERNAL AUDIT - FS -LONDON- £60k-£75k + BENEFITS

One of the world's largest and most renowned Investment Banks is seeking a highly capable candidate to undertake the role of Vice President of IT Audit located at their London head quarters. This senior role offers the perfect opportunity for the right applicant to join the upper echelons of both IT auditing and the financial services sector.

The purpose of this role is to provide reliable, valued assurance to the Board and Executive Management over the effectiveness of controls mitigating current and evolving high risks and in so doing enhancing the controls culture within the Group. It is the responsibility of the IT Audit Vice President to plan, execute and manage audit assignments in accordance with the Group Audit Plan and relevant policies, procedures and quality standards.

85% if your time will be focused heavily towards audit delivery with 10% being geared towards Management & Leadership and the remaining 5% enhancing your own technical knowledge.

Essential attributes for the role holder are a background in; the construction of annual audit plans, risk and control identification, reviewing documentation of planning, managing large audit teams. Candidates will display a high degree of intelligence, analysis skills, as well as the ability to make decisions where no facts are available, show initiative and display strong communication skills both written and verbal.
