B2B marketing Consultant - Contract

B2B marketing Consultant - Contract required to work with a team of Business Consultants that are developing B2B propositions for a major consultancy.

You will need to develop a solid understanding of the market, customer needs and competitor activity. You must have a consultancy background in a similar role and be able to create a commercially attractive proposition to help our client grow their market share. You must be prepared to challenge the current thinking to represent the B2B customer segment. Assist with preparing for and facilitating focus interviews and workshops as required. Support the development and preparation of key deliverables. Production of reports and status updates for the client and client management teams. Skills, experience and qualifications required: B2B marketing professional with solid (5+ years) experience in insight-led proposition design and development. Experience in a telecommunications, banking or FMCG is an advantage. Strong product development or management knowledge will be appreciated. Strong commercial knowledge, understanding emerging commercial models, marketing levers, business cases and longer-term implications of product development and deployment decision. Ability to work effectively in dynamic, high-growth, high-uncertainty domain. Strong track record of delivery preferably in multi-functional/geographic environments. Experience in Matrix environment managing multiple stakeholders/resources. University degree - Business/MBA or equivalent calibre.
